Critical Reading

Each week that we meet face to face you will read several short “texts” (articles, videos, websites, lesson plans, etc.) and you will write up a critical reading reflection. Sometimes the readings will offer a particular prompt, but more often, the topic is open to you. Instructions read: “Questions, resonances, critiques. Put these readings in dialogue with each other and your own knowledge/ experiences.“ These assignments are designed to help you read and process our class texts with a critical eye, and to scaffold your preparation for class activities and discussions. All Critical Reading posts are due the SATURDAY BEFORE CLASS at midnight and comments by our Monday class session.
